Review of The Giver:
In a place in one of the parts of the world, there is a place called the Community. There were no animals, no difference, no color, no fights, no love, no lies, no living creature other than a human, no war, no suffering, nor is there any happiness. Everything is stagnant and so dynamic. At first glance, it looks beautiful and harmonious community.
Humans who live there, filled with regularity and very obedient with the parent / community leaders. But unlike Jonas (Brenton Thwaites). All children up to the age of 18, will be given a general education, which will help determine his future options. And Jonas, chosen by the elders to be a Recipient Community Memory.
Jonas is now under the guidance of an old man called The Giver / Memory Giver (Jeff Bridges). Such as whether a given memory? The Giver gives Jonas the memory of the real life, real pain, real love. He showed the Jonas about music, about love, about other living things, also about the beauty-beauty of the difference.
